Healthy Omelette Recipe

This healthy omelette is known as the “pond omelette” in our house. But trust me it tastes 100 times better than it looks!

So stop pondering about how green it is and get it cooked! As a Personal Trainer of 10 years I can highly recommend this dish due to its simplicity and extremely efficient way of maintaining or improving your health. We often think about fitness plans but forget about the benefits of food and how food is thy medicine! There are lots of green health products out there with various benefits but more often than not you can’t pronounce all of the ingredients in them. A bonus of our healthy omelette is that we know exactly what’s in it.Β Iπ–™β€™π–˜ π–‰π–Šπ–‘π–Žπ–ˆπ–Žπ–”π–šπ–˜ & you might not like eating vegetables so blend them into your eggs and make your food green!

 

Healthy Omelette Recipe Ingredients

Blend together:

    • 3-5 whole eggs
    • 50 g spinach & 50 g Kale (don’t worry you can’t taste them)
    • 1 tbsp jalapeΓ±os
  • half a yellow pepper
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • half an avocado
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1.5 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp Worcester sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Himalayan salt

Other ingredients:

  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 30-50 g Feta cheese!

 

Directions

  1. Blend all of the ingredients together to make a smooth consistency.
  2. Saute the onions in a non stick pan with a tsp olive oil.
  3. Add the blended mixture to the pan and cook on a low heat for approximately 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from the heat, add the feta cheese and put in a pre-heated oven at 180 deg C.
  5. Serve with sweet potato, butternut squash, spices lentils or rice.

Trust me, this on of the most healthy omelettes you can EVER eat due to the natural ingredients such as kale, spinach and turmeric.
